Call Center frustrating to deal with!
Being a registered takealot customer I looked for but couldn't find a particular brand item, then found it at iWarehouse, so I placed the order & somehow paid over the money into takealot's account. Totally silly of me. <br> Sadly though, trying to get this sorted is proving quite a challenge. From what I have learnt over the last few days is that the [Email Removed] email address to which we are directed to handle all queries is like a call center. It seems numerous consultants can open the mails sent. The ticket numbers have absolutely no meaning as there is no where to follow them up or check the current status. So everytime the same requests are made, & comp**** with, then thats it, no further correspondence. This has opened my eyes into what I would have to deal with should there be any problems with orders or damaged goods, it would be a nightmare! I was 1st ok to have my account credited, but now think a refund is better due to this potential problem. It is a pity as this is my mistake & the previous orders were dealt with very smoothly & I was impressed, but I don't think I want to have to deal with this call center again..
We're sorry that this simple mistake has turned into such a headache for you. We appreciate you taking Washiela's call & allowing her to explain how our system works and do apologise for the double up of efforts on your side. As confirmed by Washiela, we've escalated the matter to our finance teem for a refund to be processed today & she'll follow up a bit later today to ensure it's followed through.
