********* business practices

I received a defective sewing machine which I immediately repacked for return to Takealot. They say that a dust cover was not returned with the machine and are refusing to refund my R2300 because of this . The cover was in the box when it was returned. I assume that since it was such a flimsy item that it was mislaid at their warehouse. They are denying any responsibility. Such ********* behaviour to retain customers money. I have been in correspondence continually with their agents who are unable or unwilling to assist.
