Broken tent bag
Ordered the OZtrail Tasman 4-Person Tent on Wednesday 29th of July 2015 <br> <br> As expected it was delivered on Thursday 30 July 2015.. when I got home I opened the packaging and saw that the tent bag was ripped and I had no idea what state the tent was in. I immediately emailed info@takealot and they advised me to log a return ticket .<br> <br> Once logged on Friday morning I phoned to see if the delivery could be expedited but no joy.<br> <br> Firstly - I am disappointed that I was not able to bring in the tent to the Takealot warehouse on Friday and replace with a new one on the day - the system would not allow it. (please note the lady on the phone was really amazing and friendly) <br> Secondly - I am disappointed that the second bag is broken as well. Why are you selling soiled goods? Also if the customer complained about a hole in the bag, check the second bag before shipping it. <br> Thirdly - when explaining this to the Mr D driver his response was **** happens... not acceptable.<br> <br> I had a R1300 order of camping kit in my shopping cart that that I will now delete and rather spend my money somewhere else.<br> <br> Takealot did get back to me about a full refund but still feels like my time has been wasted!<br>
We're really disappointed by the outcome of this order and that you feel like your time was wasted. That's certainly not how we want any of our customers to feel after shopping with us. We'll inform our buyer about the quality issue with this product so that it can be taken up with the supplier and be addressed accordingly. We also apologise for the comment that was made in poor taste and will take it up with the branch manager to address with the driver. Thank you for taking Melissa's call earlier. As discussed, we'll arrange for the collection of the faulty tent and process your refund as soon as it's been returned.
