broken items for sale at takealot

so i ordered a electric griller from takealot - it came while i was away for a couple of days on business get back and happily open my package just to find out it does not even switch on and the free gift of a garlic peeler is not there. you dont want to buy over the net but you eventually try and get this kind of ******** service - no thanks back to the local shops for me
