Broken item
I always order from takealot religiously and this is the first time this has happened. I go delivered a kiddies bike and a hand vacuum. I opened the hand vacuum bx now and the \nose"part of the vacuum is shattered and in pieces. Are these boxes not checked at the warehouse before packing that all is in order? This is such an inconvenience and would like a deliver and collect urgently. Im quite disappointing as this is a first after years of using the company """

We're sorry to hear about the broken piece, but this is unfortunately something that could've happened in transit or it could even have been delivered like this. We generally receive products in sealed packaging and can therefore not check the item inside as we'll then have to break the seal.
Nonetheless we apologise for the inconvenience of now having to return the item. We promise we'll try & get this sorted out as quickly as possible though. We'll ask our complaints team to make the necessary arrangements with our returns department soonest.
