Broke dreams

After years of good service takealot really dropped the ball this time. I bought a watch as a present for my husband. The watch cost about R900. First time he wore it the strap came off, the watch fell and shattered the glass. I logged a return for a defective item. Take a lot scheduled for a pick up, I returned the watch to have it assessed. Long story short, I never got my watch back and no communication until I logged a query. They then told me they returned the watch to me. After a month of back and forth they discovered the broken watch was actually returned to the pick up point and not my home as they insisted. All I got was a sorry for the inconvenience.
