Brain Haemorrhage Ideas

I've been a frequent Takealot customer for some years. Unfortunately the experience is deteriorating. The delivery times have increased drastically - perhaps as a sly strategy to push adoption of their satellite collection points.

In my case, I have started using the Tygervalley collection point. However, they now require you to have a QR code or PIN displayed or else they are completely unable to help you. The SMS from Takealot has a link to the QR code and a mail was supposed to have been sent, but even now after collection, I have not received it (and not in spam either).

Someone was having a brain haemorrhage when they thought of the idea to have the QR code or PIN (which is on the same page) as the only way of helping you and it being completely dependent on your phone's internet connection at the collection point - which in the case of the Tygervalley point is TERRIBLE!

I spent 20 minutes there today trying to get the link to open. I was frustrated because I thought it was my phone specifically. As it turns out the 3 people behind me in the queue had exactly the same problem. The app also had the same problem (connection dependent).

Stupidest idea ever! Why can't they just keep it simple like at Montague Gardens where you type in your order number and you sign and off you go?
