Book Return

I ordered a cake decorating book from Takealot as a birthday gift as the cover looked nice and it seemed to be a kids decorating cake book. When I got it I saw that it was not at all a kids cake decorating book. So I asked for a credit and return of the book on the same day. When I eventually heard from them Takealot just said no its part of our policy to not take back books. I did not know that perhaps they should specify that when you buy it. When I called the customer care the gentleman I spoke to was very nice about and understood why I wanted to send it back but when I was put through to returns the lady was rude and had attitude about. She still came back with a story of the book being dirty which is a LIE the book was and is not dirty and you can see it has not been read or copied as they claim. I am one of the honest people who ordered the incorrect item and just wants to send it back. I still want my money back and now more then ever for being accused of sending back a dirty book when its not dirty. I sent the book back in the same box as it came and it had no plastic on now all of a sudden it gets sent back in plastic
