Blatant Dishonesty making their problem the customers

I placed an order on the takealot website, this order was accepted and then cancelled. Now the product went offline the next morning and could not be found but a few hours later came back online with a new price and was available again.

I then received an email notifying me that my order was being cancelled as the supplier had no stock of the product and that I would receive credit to use on the site. The default should be a refund not credit.

I have a major issue when with a company like takealot being blatantly dishonest in it's communication with customers, the product was not out of stock, it's still available at this time less than 24 hours after I received the mail. I find this extremely ********* and beneath a company of Takealot's standing.
