Black Friday is not worth it!

Black Friday is nonsense Black Friday was an absolute let down this year. It's the one day everyone is looking for bargains and savings. On Takealot I noticed most prices on my favorites went up. Takealot said they don't control prices, the suppliers selling through them do.

So my conclusion and experience is definitely park the item you want in your favorites if you plan to wait for Black Friday. If the price increases, don't buy. To me it's ********* business and taking advantage of consumers. The same item dropped back to its original price today.

I mention Takealot as that was my experience, however all over I noticed no crazy rushes, people weren't really interested in the terrible Black Friday "specials". I really didn't see anything that was worth losing your mind over. It's lost it's appeal and I believe ********* price hikes were noticed by other consumers as well.

Monitoring prices during the year gives you a very good idea of normal vs any possible "special". I'm sure the day had its moments in the Gauteng cities, but it's simply not worth it anymore.
