Birthday supper......... empty handed

I placed a order and paid in full, received the item 26/3 wrong product, now takealot make me feel as if I am in the wrong, I must run around and provide proof that it is the wrong item, I mean really. The item I purchased was intended for a gift now its a big fat mess. Birthday supper was 26/3 and guess what I went empty handed, what a embarrassment. Takealot are so relaxed about this matter, I just wonder how I will be compensated for the embarrassment.
