Beware -- With Takealot it seems what you get is not always what you expect and you will be left holding the can.

Having been a long term satisfied takealot customer I have been disappointed with their recent actions. I purchased a trail order of their face masks recently and after receiving them and using them and being satisfied with them I placed a another larger order for the same mask using the same link as before so expecting the same product. Upon receiving the second order I opened the packet to hand some masks to my workers but to my disappointment the elastic on the mask is way shorter than the trial order to the extend that the elastic could not comfortably hook behind your ears. I returned the order but Takealot refuses to pass a credit as the packet had been opened. Well there was no way to see the problem without opening the packet and I feel dubbed as Takealot want to force me in this way to accept an inferior product not fit for use while they sold a substandard product to me on the same link as a previous product that I was happy with. Beware of this company as it seems they do not hold the same standards as before.
