Beware Takealot's Goods

Takealot is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a bottle of Silicone. They delivered a 3/4 full bottle which wasn't sealed properly (wasn't new??), resulting in the wrapping drenched in silicone. I ordered two other items (three in total) and all were delivered on the same day......except the silicone was placed in a separate box apart from the other two items. Why??? Because they knew the item was defective from the start???

I contacted Takealot and they promised to collect the faulty silicone and replace it. Lo and behold, they collected the item but then delivered the exact same item, in the exact same wrapping I used, back to me a week or so later. What pathetic service!!!! They are totally unprofessional and totally ***********. I requested that the silicone be collected a second time and refunded, but suddenly their website stated that the item in non-returnable. If I knew Takealot would be so deceptive, I would've requested a refund in the first place instead.

This isn't the first time I've been unhappy with Takealot. Sure they deliver items in record time but the condition of the items that are delivered are embarrassing, especially if it's a special gift. If you're wanting to purchase a gift then Takealot is the last place to buy it from. I don't know how many times I've received items in boxes that are damaged on the outside......it looks as though they're tossing these goods around in the warehouse. Fortunately the products inside were undamaged.

Takealot will never get business from me ever again.
