Beware, Takealot.com's so-called "Blue dot Sales" is not always what it looks like!

Not Happy with Takealot.com's so-called "Blue dot sales" which tricks consumers in buying products by making them believe we are getting a good deal. What was advertised as 56% off on a pair of shoes was actually 7% off. After buying some Adidas Alphabounce instinct shoe (size 4) for my kid advertised at R649 instead of R1499, I found the exact same shoes on the Adidas website selling for R699 (and that was not a Sale price just the regular price). I called takealot to make them aware of the mistake they made on their adverti*****t but apparently they do not have any control over that. I just wonder who is?. If I were to get a Blue dot deal on those shoes, I should have had to pay only R370. I wonder how many other products they advertised falsely like that! This is purely false adverti*****t and probably *******! How many people get ******* by this Billion rand business; it is appalling that they do not want to take any responsibility nor accountability for the impact they may have on consumers. I guess if they can get away with it, they will. I am really not impressed and honestly, very disappointed!
