Beware of 3rd party sellers on Take-a-lot
After a very happy relationship with Take-a-lot since almost the beginning I am very unhappy with them today. I ordered a lovely sleeper couch from them for my new home. I kept it wrapped for two weeks so as to not damage it in the move. Having had a long relationship with Take-a-lot I was not even concerned about this. When I opened it it was not the right couch and furthermore it had defects (seems like a reject couch). I returned the couch in under 30 days (it has a 6 month warranty) and was denied return because it is the wrong item. I ask the question, "How can Take-a-lot not know what their 3rd party sellers are giving out to customers?" In this case it was Greater Bargains but my daughter had a similar experience with another 3rd party seller. I have wasted much time and airtime trying to rectify this problem but cannot come right. Furthermore the communication stopped after it was stated on my returns page that return was denied, even though returns page says to refer to latest email communication for details.
