Being bamboozled

So Last week I was looking to by a Gedore toolbox set and the price was R4999.00 so I said I will wait till black friday but to my surprise the price this week shot up to R7069.00 .So I spoke to a person at Takealot and their answer for the change in price was - Good Day Randal

I do not understand but what will make the prices fluctuate from R4099 to R7069.

This is not the only product there are quiet a few items that I have screened shot last week and the price has increased but has been marked down as if it is being discounted .

I will be forwarding all my screen shots of last week and the sudden rise of prices to see if this is fair and just because claiming to give a discount when there is actually no discount is a lie to us and as a consumer i will buy because I have being made to believe that there is a discount.
