Be cautious before buying

I purchased a kettle from takealot. The kettle worked fine for about a day before it did not always turn off automatically, only some times. We then logged a return and decided to rather buy a bigger one as this was only 1 or 2 days after it being delivered. Then we received a response that despite the faulty product, it could not be refunded because it had been used.
