Be aware of ***** orders.

It seems after the takeover of Kalahari, things have gone south for Takealot... or at least that is my experience. Be careful of placing orders as they don't necessarily have stock and only try to lure you to the site with false advertising. This was my experience not once, but numerous times.

For an e-commerce website, they sure struggle with their systems. My latest experience (please comment if you want the previous ones as well, there just isn't enough space) I placed an order that specifically stated In stock, yet according to takealot the product is end of life (EOL). So I asked them how is it possible to place an order that says in stock and then its EOL? When I asked them to send my order they said no stock, even though the websites stated there is stock.
Now similar products are more expensive and they just want to upsell.
