For the past 3years I've been using Takealot almost every month , my address has never changed , but for the past couple of months their delivery has been very ***** . They gave me a delivery date but failed to deliver instead the driver calls 2mins to 5pm and gives excuses like he can't find my address ,I sent my location still he delays by about 40mins despite him being in my vicinity. This time they gave me a delivery date of 1st Dec , they didn't come, no communication , only the next day they tell me delivery will be before 5pm , still nothing , then after a day of waiting a message about "insufficient address details" and a promise to call , 2 days later still no such call . I am right now in limbo as I have no idea what's happening with my order. The prices on Takealot have become ridiculously inflated people should be very careful and compare prices with other retailers before buying from Takealot. When I call Takealot before 5pm the pre recorded message says "sorry we can't take your call , our operating hours are between 7am and 5pm " 🤔
