Bait-and-Switch: Takealot selling "Standard" Ecovacs hardware as "PRO" models.

I am writing this to warn other South African consumers about a systemic product misrepresentation on Takealot. I purchased an Ecovacs Deebot T30C PRO, advertised with 20,000 Pa suction and PRO-tier AI features (TrueDetect 3D 3.0 and YIKO 2.0). Upon delivery, it became clear that the unit provided (and the current stock listed on the site) is the Standard T30C model, which lacks these essential hardware sensors and AI capabilities, despite being labeled as "PRO" in the title. I escalated this to management (Case #***2), providing documented proof of the specification discrepancy. Instead of rectifying the error with a fair credit or a genuine upgrade, Takealot hid behind "frameworks" and "R250 caps," essentially forcing me to choose between a 3-week wait for potentially more incorrect stock or a refund that would leave me at a financial loss. I have now opened the unit to avoid further time-wasting, but I am appalled by the lack of accountability. If you are buying a "PRO" model from Takealot, check the sensors on the bumper—you are likely being sold standard hardware at a "PRO" name premium. Formal complaint to the NCC to follow.
