Bait advertising and appalling customer service.

Over the weekend my girlfriend dropped her Samsung Note 3 destroying the screen and ending its useful life.
So we embarked on the tedious process of picking a new phone.
Eventually we settled on a 128GB iPhone 6S Plus from TAKELOT.com that was on special that weekend for about 20% off. Unfortunately come Monday morning we received an Email from TAKELOT.com basically telling us our order was out of stock and that they are cancelling our order. This was less than ideal as that very same phone just in a different colour was a few thousand rand more and no longer a good deal.

The next day waiting for TAKELOT.com to refund us we decided to go with our second option the Samsung S7 Edge also from TAKELOT.com. In an almost comedic fashion the Samsung Phone after the entire process including checkout was almost a thousand rand more than the advertised price on the invoice they emailed us.

No response yet as to why the Samsung was almost a thousand rand more than advertised but I'm not sure I need a response, their customer service is so terrible that I don’t think doing business with them is a good idea.

Customer service can only be described as an endless list of generic preformed responses and the staff are completely aloof.
