Bad/unwilling delivery service from takealot

It is a real flaw in the system of takealot delivery that it is impossible to either change the delivery adress, change from delivery to pick up, or ask for delivery at a certain time of day.

You can't stay at home all day with the hope that you might catch the takealot driver when he comes some time between 08:00 and 17:00.. You also don't know what might happen in a few days time when the delivery is expected.

Just a combination of too many uncer*****ies and mistakes.... The refusal of the depot site in Port Elizabeth to assist in changing from delivery to pick up. The customer care person that asks ME if there is in fact a depot in Summerstrand in PE when SHE is the one working for Takealot. Also the fact that you can't ask for a deliery time..even on the day of delivery when you phone to ask what time they will arrive, they are unable/unwilling to help.... Leaving my mother to have to change her plans in the day to wait for them to deliver her birthday present..then misses the delivery because we don't know when they will arrive and they don't respond to requests, leaving her crying because she missed the present and feels bad.

Really bad service from takealot and according to me a real bad flaw in their delivery system.

I can't be the only one that has this issue
