Bad services

I placed a order with takelot on the 24th of November paid for the delivery they took the money no problem only to find out that they don't have the item in stock and will only be getting stock of the item on the 1st of December. How dose a huge company like takealot sell things they don't have in stock and if I did not call them I would still not know what is going on
