Bad service!!!***cot Takealot!!!Lay legal claim!!!

Very Bad service. We will never ever buy anything from takealot again. They are not trustworthy and the reputable company that you would think they are. As I read the other consumer's complaints and that they are getting no service or returns or refund for their hard earned cash for appliances that is faulty, I know that we are doing the right thing to lodge a formal legal complaint against them and I think everyone should do this as they will keep on selling faulty or damaged products to consumers. My brother purchased a huge flat screen television that they delivered. He noticed when he saw the box that it looked very old & not in a good condition but nevertheless the box were sealed. When they started to open the box not even extracting it from all of the Styrofoam packaging, they saw that the television had damage. They took pictures immediately and send it to Takealot. They said they will collect it again to investigate. Now they claim that they didn't damage it when they shipped it from their warehouse or with the delivery from Gauteng to Rustenburg and that they are going to send back the damaged television, not replacing with an undamaged television or refunding the money. R15000 in the drain for a television that was delivered damaged?And we all witnessed that it was damaged still in the packaging? How can that be right. My theory is that they have these so called specials on products that are faulty or damaged and then sell them as this huge special and know that they will just not repair, replace or refund these products. We will definitely go further with legal proceedings and stop them in de*****ing customers of their hard earned money! I see that with all of the complaints posted on this website they don't respond at all. Just confirming that they are guilty as charged and you will never get proper service from them. ***cot them and share far & wide to save other consumers from this company's bad business ethics.
