Bad service from takealot

You would think that a company would check a product before it is shipped, but not so with takealot. I ordered a bathroom scale from them and picked it up and the batteries was so badly corroded that the connections fell apart. It has probably been in store for a very long time. I had to pay a delivery fee of R35 rand and make two visits to the pickup point for something that could have been avoided by a 15 second check before shipping. I am very disappointed and will think twice before using them again.
