Bad service from Takealot

I ordered a pair of golf shoes from takealot over the Black Friday period. Placed my order made my payment received my delivery dates. When I went to collect my golf shoes they sent me was the wrong item. They then return to item and said they will replace it with the correct item. After 3 week of waiting I eventually went to the branch where I was supposed to collect my item from. There they told me they not sure why the item was not yet repaced and that they have no control over that and gave me a telephone number to phone. I then spoke to one of the consultants over the phone and she informed me that the supplier was out of stock and that they would refund me the money and I can go by another pair of gold shoes. The only problem was that the item I ordered was on Black Friday special for R999 and now I have to go pay R1799 rand for the same item.

I just feel that everything I did from my side was correct, they messed up on the delivery, never came back to me and said that there was a problem, do I want to wait or gave me any options I was just given back the money and said that the supplier was out of stock and I needed to reorder at the new price. I just feel that if it goes takealot's way it suits them it is great but when it comes to the customer and what he ordered and paid for just doesn't get considered. They should be held responsible for sending the wrong item, it is there responsibility after all to make sure they deliver the correct items.
