Bad service from Takealot

My daughter bought a walking ring for her month old baby. Upon opening it she found it to be flimsy and not strong enough for the baby. She packed it back immediately in their packaging and logged a return. They refuse to take it back as they said it's been used. I can confirm that it wasn't used as the baby is only 4 months old
