Bad Service - Don't buy a fridge on Takealot

What a nightmare, delivery was rescheduled more than 7 times from Takealot side. Each day they advise that they would deliver on that particular day and then never show up. After receiving the fridge eventually it came faulty with an noisy compressor. I requested an replacement unit. Takealot picked the fridge up two days later. I needed to help carry the fridge as the guy came alone, also the bakkie he came with was too small for the fridge to stand up right and had to lay down, which is the incorrect way of transporting an fridge. Then I got an email saying that they credit my Takealot account, due to no stock. I check the supplier and it was indeed showing in stock for Cape Town from the original supplier I bought from :( I would not recommend buying big appliances from Takealot. I am currently still without an fridge due to Takealot who let me down. Another place had the same fridge with the same sale price but decided to go with Takealot due to there reliable service that they used to have. I am so disappointed in Takealot, I should have gone with the other retailer.
