Bad Service at Takealot or is Takealot a ****

First off I am forced by your website to give a minimum of 1 star rating Takealot deserve MINUS 5 rating.

On Saturday 4 November 2023 I placed an order with Takealot for three items totalling R 5 070. After placing the order and making a payment via my credit card I received an order number and an email from Takealot confirming my order, plus receipt of the full amount. I was informed that I could expect to receive the goods after 14 November 2023. On Saturday 4 November 2023 at 21:38 Takealot confirmed in an email that payment of R 5 070,00 received in respect of order ***. On Saturday 4 November 2023 21:41 Nedbank advised me that an amount of R 5070,00 was debited to my credit card and the amount was paid to Takealot. On Saturday 4 November 2023 at 22:20 Takealot suddenly advise me that payment was not received; I was given 24 hours to make payment to Takealot or else the order would be cancelled. On Sunday 5 November 2023 at 21:25 I telephonically confirmed with Nedbank that the amount of R 5 070,00 was paid into Takealot's bank account. Since I was informed by both Takealot and my bank that payment had been made to Takealot and the money was received by Takealot on Sunday 5 November 2023 at 22:01 I wrote an email to Takealot providing the details as above. I received an automated reply from Takealot informing me that they had received my inquiry and it would be attended to within the next 12 to 24 working hours. Instead of attending to my inquiry I have been informed by Takealot on 5 November at 22:20 that my order has been cancelled As we've not received payment, we have cancelled your order ***. That's okay. We know life gets busy. Simply visit takealot.com to place a new order. How obtuse can Takealot be to presume that I will make double payment to them ~ have Takealot now resorted to running ****s. Since Takealot simply cancelled my order I demand that they immediately reactivate my order within 12 hours failing which they should refund immediately refund my money to me ~ not at their next payment run. Immediately!!
