Bad service and poor quality

I bought a blind from Takealot (Finishing Touches brand) on January 9th. I did not open it immediately becuase the window where I needed it installed was not ready and I did not want to risk damaging or dirtying the blind. When I eventualy wanted to install it on February 23rd, I noticed the packaging was not sealed but just taped close. Both wall brackets and *****s were missing. The Blind was also damaged on the one mounting corner and a broken pole as well. This was more than 30days but it came with a 6 month defect warranty so I logged a return to exchange the blind. After takealot reviewed the blind they rejected the exchange because it was more than 30 days. Even thoughit met the 6 month defect warranty period. The is my second issue with the quality of Takealots items within weeks. Very disappointed because you would expect a company of their size to do proper quality checks before dispatching items. Nor do you expect them to not honor their warranty agreement.
