Bad service

My husband wante dto surprise me with a cookbook from Takealot.com

He placed one order but the site was delayed and accidentally placed the same order three times. ***6 , ***7 , ***1, however these orders were cancelled but an amount of R265 was deducted off his Absa account.

He requested a refund but tried to replace the order one more time, order went through successfullt, however two amounts of R265 was now deducted AND THE ORDER CANCELLED!! ***7.

WE NOW HAVE FOUR CANCELLED ORDERS AND THREE DEDUCTIONS OFF OUR ACCOUNT. we requested a refund, but was asked to send proof of decuction. my husband went to the bank today to get a bank statement, which was sent to Takealot as proof ,only to be told that its not valid.

Obviously they should be able to see these deductions AND proof was sent, what better proof than an actual bank statement.

I want this refund immediatley and will not do business with Takealot anymore, sucks as first time buyers.
