Bad service

I placed two separate orders on 13 and 14 December to be collected from Pretoria north pick up point. The scheduled delivery date indicated was 27 and 28 December. I placed the order knowing that I have Atleast 7 days to collect my orders. Takealot has now sent the orders a few days before the expected date and I am told that my orders will be automatically cancelled by the system should I not collect the items on 31 December and I am not available.

How is it my fault that the items were delivered prior to the scheduled date
