Bad quality Takealot.com product

I ordered a Black Classic Sleeper Couch from Takealot. It Got delivered on the 28th of November 2024. Two weeks later the insides of the couch collapsed and you literally sank straight through. I live alone so its not like there was any heavy wear and tear on the product. When I returned the product, the return gets declined because of user damage. So my question then is, should you buy a couch and stare at it or actually sit on it? What is the use of a couch if not to be sat on. And if the couch is of bad quality, which it is because within a week the front stitching started to come loose as well. Should I as the customer then be held responsible for a ****ing bad quality product and then the supplier can just refuse to return my money or replace the product? This was my first furniture item I bought on takealot as I am a young professional that moved into my place a week before they delivered the couch. I will never again use Takealot.com to order furniture and I will make sure that the 52k followers I have on my social media are aware that takealot are slowly but surely becoming a China shop where you are promised good quality products and get **** in return. I am very unhappy about this.
