Bad for Business

It's disturbing that Takealot can neither escalate a query with a reasonable turnaround time, nor advise when products are scheduled to arrive to their depot by liaising with their own warehouse. Imagine, a call centre with no tools to actually resolve any query - what is their purpose if not to resolve queries?? Come on Takealot, do better!

Background: I've placed a big order with Takealot last night, today the item is R1000 cheaper. I cannot cancel my order or have them adjust it. All I got was sorry, we cannot assist with that, offered an escalation in which management would call in 24 hours if not busy. The promotional item cannot be set aside and they cannot promise anything.

WOW, so by the time I get the call the promotional item would be gone, and ***s would have learnt to fly.
