Bad delivery service! Then notified my order has been cancelled and returned

I placed an order last week for some items and chose the COD delivery method.

when the delivery was due the driver called me this was about 4.30 pm I advised I am not yet home but if he let me know which are he is going to I might be able to meet him and get the good.

He advised me he will come tomorrow, I informed him I can be home by 4pm, he then said ok. Friday came I received a message from takealot that my item will be delivered between 8am and 12pm, I then stayed at home and waited but nothing came I then went to work and got a call at about 2.30pm advising that the driver is at my place to deliver the items. I advised him I will only be that side after 3.30pm. He said ok. At 3.30pm I called the driver to tell him im on my way that side which area is he in if he can come deliver or if I can meet him somewhere, he told me he is done working but will ask his manager.

I have not heard anything again from him. The next thing I heard from takealot was that my order has been cancelled and the items has been returned.

I have not bought from takealot for more than 6 months from buying almost every month something from you guys. This service I received was honestly pathetic.

I have place one last order for a different Item and just paid via eft using capitec I cannot even forward the proof of payment because the ********** email address no longer accept emails etc.

FYI the kitchen set I ordered for my daughter as a christmas present is now out of stock............ Thank you Takealot
