Bad customer service

I bought an Espresso Coffee maker sold by Mainstream Market in April 2024. The product came with a 3 year warranty and when it broke about 4 weeks ago I requested a refund from Takealot.com. Initially Takealot refused my request for a return of the item stating it was part their 6 months return policy. I send them an email with the photo of the original packaging which shows a clear 3 year warranty. Takealot relented and collected the Espresso Machine which they then send to Mainstream Market. In the last weeks I have frequently requested an update on my refund and am just being stone walled every time. They just keep on telling me they are waiting for feedback from Mainstream Market. I bought the item from Takealot and Takealot are refusing to give me a refund.
