Bad after sales support

I bought a Russel Hobbs air fryer oven from takealot and registered it for an extended warranty. The unit became defective and I contacted Russel Hobbs. They informed me to return the unit to the place I bought it from and they need to facilitate the warranty claim. Takealot picked up my air fryer oven an I was under the impression they would have it repaired by Russel Hobbs as per the discussions on the numerous emails sent back and forth. I however received my air fryer oven back in the same condition, with no repairs done.
