Awful customer service and ******* coupon

Absolutely terrible customer service from Takealot. Ordered a product that was defective and electronic part did not work, I returned it and originally my refund to my card was approved. I then received an email from “Rabia.P” at Takealot to say I cannot receive a refund but only a coupon that only lasts a month. After a few back and forth emails I asked for the coupon to last slightly longer (6 months) which she refused and said their policy is 1 month (nowhere on there policy does it state coupons last a month). I brought up the National Consumer Act that said coupons must legally last 3 years from date of issue, she acknowledged this but once again stated it will only last a month. Apparently Takealot acknowledges they have ******* practices and the customer gets the short end of the stick for their defective products. Awful service.
