Avoid the black friday ********** at all cost

Do not purchase the ********** black friday specials.

Purchased a laptop on special, it came in an unsealed box, was refurbished even though it was advertised as new, and was an incorrect, lower spec model. On top of this, the laptop couldnt even boot, cause whoever did the refurbishment failed to install windows properly.

On requesting a replacement, they say there is not stock, but the item remains purchaseable on the website right now.

To this they say I bought from a different supplier, but their order system doesnt even have the transparency to show on your order who you bought it from, so make sure you screenshot when you buy otherwise you will always have bought from some other supplier when they list items too cheap and cant pull their bait and switch **** successfully.

When dealing with customer service, I asked repeatedly to replace it it, and if not possible, refund my card, and now after the item has been returned, they say they will credit the takealot account, after which point I can EFT myself through their system, adding further delays into getting my money back.

Do yourselves a favour and double check anything you bought on black friday, I think you may be in for a ****ty surprise when specs dont match the advertising.
