Appalling service from Takealot

Appalling service. Ordered a microwave. Microwave arrived. Didn't switch on. Was returned - Takelot collected yesterday. Apparently I have to wait for it to get the warehouse to be checked which could take 5 to 7 days before I can get one (that I paid for). Asked for a refund then, but apparently that cannot be done wither.
