Appalling service

I am writing with a heavy heart because I trusted this company but they proved me wrong. I placed an order on 27 January and was promised delivery on the 8 February and even received a text saying I should expect my parcel. To my dissatisfaction & disappointment I went to collect the parcel where I was expecting it to be delivered and it wasn't there and no one bothered to make me aware that there was an issue with the delivery. Whatever happened to communication &/or setting expectations guys? How do I trust that the parcel will be delivered even? I am so disappointed because this is not the first time I have bought from takealot and suddenly this is the kind of service I am getting. So much for staying safe, buying online and get parcels as soon as possible. Can anyone tell me when I should expect my parcel or just forget about it already because I have lost hope.
