Appalling Customer Service and Communication

I've been using Takealot.com since 2014 and I've received excellent service from them up untill now.

03 July 2016- I logged a return of a defective item with them.

06 July 2016- The Item was received at their warehouse.

20 July 2016- After enqiring via email, I was told that the item was with the service team and they were busy with it.

26 July 2016- I receive an email from takealot informing me that my item has been repaired and that they are awaiting the items return to the warehouse. I was asked to confirm delivery address and I did so. I receive confirmation from takealot that the warehouse has been notified and I can expect delivery very soon.

15 August 2016- I send an email to takealot requesting an ETA on delivery as its almost been 3 weeks since I was told the item was repaired. I received a response from takealot saying that the request is being forwarded to the relevant department and they will contact me. A week passes and no one contacts me.

24 August 2016- In light of no one contacting me I send another email.

26 August 2016- I receive the following email from takealot:
"We have notified our warehouse team that the item can be collected from the service team. It seems that there was a misunderstanding between the warehouse and the service team, however we have managed to resolve this.

Once the item arrives at our warehouse, will they have the item shipped to yourself. Once shipped, it should be delivered with in a few days."

Today is the 20th of September and still no package.

I'm fed up with emailing takealot as I do not seem to be getting any positive results, hopefully this would yield some.

Takealot, PLEASE! I need to know whats going on with the return of my product. As mentioned in my emails to you, if the product has been lost in transit, let me know. I understand the magnitude of your operation however I do not think it takes this long to have a repaired item returned to your warehouse and shipped to the customer unless your repair center is using the South African Post Office to send items back to your warehouse.

Please provide me with a solution in your reply and not some generic copy paste response concocted by management.

I love using your service and you will see that since I started using it I purchase items on almost a monthly basis, sometimes multiple times in a month but this experience has just been horrible . I recommend your service to anyone I know that wants to purchase online but I doubt I will after this.
