An absolute nightmare

Kids, always listen to your instincts! Last month, I foolishly ordered an Android TV `box from Takealot.com because I thought it would be more reliable than going to a random shop. Also, because I was feeling extra stupid with my money, I decided to spend a little more than I should have on the product. I searched for a brand that i HAD ACTUALLY SEEN WORK REALLY WELL too and I thought, let's give it a try. The TV box ( Aerbes Q96 Android TV Box) arrived and I managed to set it up on my TV but immediately I noted that while I was signing into Google Play, it would restart or worse still, not allow me to sign in at all. I was eventually able to sign in however, most if not all the apps were not working. I requested for an exchange and not only was I given a dud, but it was a cheaper one (with no refund of the balance paid initially) and the device can only work in India. I sent the product back to Takealot.com and requested a refund because obviously, this is not working out. I got an email a day later from a Yolanda Mka stating I can't get a refund because...I kid you NOT...this was not the product that was sold to me. Well NO **** SHERLOCK!?!?! I sent an email back to explain the debacle that has taken place and received another response a few days later stating that the matter has been escalated and will be dealt with. I guess when Takealot.com says they'll be dealing with matters it means you will be harassed day and night with texts saying someone is coming to collect your package. Even though you have personally taken the package back to a pick-up point close by and these texts should actually be sent to the staff at the pick up point instead. Honestly, I'm just tired and I want my money back...AND OH MY GOD DO NOT SEND ME ANOTHER ANDROID BOX because it is very apparent you don't have ones that work.
