Amateurish handling of warranty claim

<p> I have a hard drive that i purchased from takealot.com last year. The plastic bit that holds the sata cable in place broke off during while I was cleaning my system - So I send the device in and would like the drive to be repaired/replaced under my 2 year warranty</p> <p> </p> <p>I send the device in and get notified that takealot.com will be sending the device to the supplier to have it assessed - I get a call from them stating they will not honor my warranty claim due to the pins being bent. I’m at a loss for words at this point because NONE of the pins were broken or bent the day I sent it to take a lot - At one point they said they would put me in contact with the supplier so we can discuss the warranty repair/swap out which I’m believe that I’m STILL entitled to - Today I received my faulty hard drive back in a WORSE condition in than when I sent it originally - they are stating they received it like this *******!!!!!. I tried to escalate this issue however the same person that I was dealing with the entire time just closed it and said they weren’t going to assist further - I am disgusted at this level of service from takealot.com and won’t be spending a single cent at this company any more</p> <p> </p> <p>I am appalled at the way I’m just being brushed off after they further damaged my device - What a joke of a company</p> <p> </p> <p>RRN-dee9-96f1 </p>
