All words, no action

<p>I purchased a vacuum cleaner which was delivered in a resealed box. The vacuum cleaner was definitely already used as the foot was scratched underneath and some of the parts weren't even in original packaging. Takealot were swift to respond to the problem and said a new vacuum cleaner would be delivered to me so a swop could be done. The delivery courier arrived this morning - without my new vacuum cleaner!! Surely there is some procedure to ensure that all packages are on the courier before leaving the depot?!! The delivery person assured me that he would return later with my package. Hours later I was still waiting. I phoned takealot twice to find out about my delivery. The lady I spoke to said that the delivery was on the courier and she would phone me back after speaking to the delivery person. It is 8pm and I am still waiting for her phonecall- and my vacuum cleaner. How am I supposed to believe anything that is told to me by the takealot employees?!!</p>
