All Takealot no action.

I ordered an item, immediately after which I found the item significantly cheaper elsewhere. I could not cancel my order even though it had not been shipped yet. I don't understand why you cannot cancel at this early stage.

I logged a return, they advised me they would collect the item for return on a date that was actually before the date of delivery... Which also doesn't make any sense.

I called in, and the assistant cancelled my return request and advised me to just refuse delivery so that the item would be returned to the warehouse after which I'd be refunded. However, after refusing delivery I have not heard any further feedback from the company.

I have emailed again and again and called with absoullutely no further progress. Multiple assistants saying they will escalate and inquire with the couriers and yet weeks have gone by with no feedback at all.

I am growing increasingly frustrated and hopeless. With no means of escalating the issue and with no feedback I am losing so much confidence in this company.

I feel like Takealot.com should be a last resort. First shop around, then shop around again, and only then if you absolutely have to, then brave the storm of dealing with this very confused and disorganised company. They do not try to help you, unless it means you will be throwing your money at them.
