Advice for consumers doing online shopping

As I am a veteran online shopper myself and have lots of experience with online shopping, I am writing this review to provide some advice to consumers that do online shopping in order to ease some frustrations that they may experience with online shopping retailers.

1. As sometimes these online shopping retailers can sometimes be very unpredictable and you can't really trust that you are going to receive your order on time or at all for that matter, if the online shopping company provides a COD option rather choose this as a payment option instead of paying via EFT or credit card. This way you know you only pay once you have the goods in hand and you haven't spent your hard earned cash on something that they haven't delivered.

2. Always read their return and refund policies VERY WELL. Make sure you know what you can and can't return, how many days you have to return damaged items or items that you don't want and what their refund policies are should you require a refund. I found that it's extremely difficult to return items to online shopping retailers and even more difficult to try and get your money back because the slightest thing wrong with the item I.e the item not being in it's original packaging and they will NOT refund you by reading the policies you will at least have a leg to stand on.

3. lastly, always check with the online shopping retailer that they have the item that you are ordering in stock, thus to avoid disappointment.
