Advertised deal not being honored
Received a mail for a canon camera bundel at special price of R2689<br> Canon 1200D DSLR<br> Starter Bundle<br> R2,689<br> Was R3,689<br> Get The Deal (link to deal on web)<br> <br> Price on website is R3989 though and stock shown to be available. I immediately emailed them to request them to reserve one for me at R3689 (advertised deal) and to let me know how to purchase it. No response. I should also mention that I am a client who have purchased a lot of goods from takealot. I have included my email address under policy to verify - also use email surname _at_ gmail.<br> .

We understand your disappointment by missing out on this daily deal as it was a very popular offer. This deal however sold out at 8:20am this morning already. Deal quantities are limited and as such, after a Deal is sold out those particular Goods may be available on the Website at their normal selling prices, but no longer as a Deal. We've also allocated a limited number of these units to our Canon Promotion today at a slightly higher price, which explains why it still showed as in stock/available.
We've instructed our complaints team to get in touch with you to confirm this and to clarify the pricing differences you experienced.
