Absolutely Disastrous Service from Takealot Delivery Team

I am beyond frustrated with the utterly appalling service I’ve received from Takealot. I’ve been waiting for a delivery since Thursday, with repeated promises that it would arrive at a specific time. Every time, they failed to deliver. It’s been nothing but excuses and incompetence from the delivery team, and I can honestly say this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any company.

On the day of delivery, I spoke directly with the driver in the morning, who assured me my package would be delivered by 12:00 PM. That was already an inconvenience, but I agreed to wait. By 1:00 PM, I called the driver again—he ignored my calls. After multiple attempts, I was left with no choice but to wait around with no answers and no delivery. The level of unprofessionalism from this team is absolutely disgraceful.

The delivery team is completely unreliable, disrespectful of customers' time, and completely unaccountable for their actions. Their behavior has been nothing short of a joke—after this, I will never trust Takealot with any delivery again. Their drivers are beyond useless and seem completely uninterested in doing their jobs. The branch manager, as well as the rest of the team, have all proven to be utterly incapable of managing a simple task like delivering a package on time.

Takealot clearly has no regard for its customers, and the delivery team is a disgrace. If you are considering using them for any delivery, I would strongly advise against it. Do yourself a favor and find a service that actually values your time and business, because Takealot certainly doesn’t.
