Hi, I ordered a ZIPPO LIGHTER with the JACK DANIELS logo/engraving on. The price of this item was R899.00, I transferred the money. They received their money. This was done on 08/05/2020. The transaction showed on my bank statement 11/05/2020. I got my delivery at my house on 11/05/2020 at + - 10h30. I received my parcel and walked to my house. Once inside my house, I opened parcel and found the box inside that the ZIPPO LIGHTER is packed in. When i opened the ZIPPO box, there was NOTHING INSIDE. NO ZIPPO !!!!! I immediately sent them a mail to explain to TAKEALOT. I received a mail from a person called Duncan. He passed it on to a lady called Monica. She sent me a mail to reply that they will look into it. This was on 12/05/2020. Since then........NO COMMUNICATION FROM TAKEALOT. The numbers on the TAKEALOT box are: MDX***3 and S*** So, I gave R899.00 to TAKEALOT for nothing. I think it is a SHAME and blatantly THIEVERY from their side.
